Guest Writer, Grand Rapids

The Grand Rapids Cooley campus has a new student organization--the State Bar of Michigan Law Student Association (LSA). A branch of the State Bar of Michigan Law Student Section (LSS),  the LSA works directly with the State Bar on student issues. Representatives for each Cooley campus collaborate on monthly conference calls and discuss new opportunities to bring to the law students.

The Association’s mission is:
  • To increase student involvement in the State Bar of Michigan;
  • To actively support the State Bar of Michigan Law Student Sections’ philanthropic activities;
  • And to further professional opportunities among law students.
